Newsome Awards 

Fred Newsome has been in the music industry over 20 years. He has been honored with such great individuals as; Bishop TD Jakes, Wendy Rachel Robinson of the "Steve Harvey Show", Playwrite David Talbert, Tommy Ford of "The Martin Show", Vickie Winans and Dr. Bobby Jones. Mr. Newsome is the Executive Producer and CEO of The Newsome Awards. Which is one of Gospel Music's Premier Award shows.  In July the Newsome Awards has just completed their 10th show. Mr. Newsome carries such a vast background with award shows such as; a Board of Governor Nominee for the Grammy Awards, Advisory Board Member for the Stellar Gospel Music Awards and he has several other award show associations. After such great success in the gospel music awards show arena, he is now branching out into television production.

Coming in February 2011, The Chrissy Leigh Show. On the show we will be interviewing celebrity artist and actors, fashion designers, athletes, pastors, and America's leading politicians. Listed below is some of the events and activities we are involved in. Click on the links below.

MEET SOME OF THE NEWSOME AWARDS PAST CELEBRITY HOSTS:

Gabrille Kerr hosted the Newsome Awards Show in Princess Anne, Maryland in 2007. She is currently a host for QVC. Recently she appeared on the "Apprentice" with Donald Trump. It was great pleasure having Gabrille as the host. She is funny, witty, and extremely nice.

Alfonso Freeman, son of actor Morgan Freeman. Alfonso has hosted five of the Newsome Awards Shows. He has been seen in several movies with his father. The most recent movie was, "The Bucket List". Where he played Morgan Freeman son. Alfonso is wise, funny and always looking for that great opportunity.

Doresa Harvey is a radio announcer in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Doresa has hosted six Newsome Awards Shows. She is also a recipient of the award. She is currently doing acting, hosting and radio announcing. She is one of our best host we have had with the Newsome Awards.

Sherri ScottNovoa is an actress. She has been seen on "A Different World" with Sinbad. She played on "NYPD Blue", as a woman police officer and she has been the host of two Newsome Awards Show, Pensacola, Fla. and Baltimore, MD. Sherri is a professional in her own right. She been in the acting business for over 20 years and she has proven herself over and over again to one of the "Great Stars" on this planet today.
